Borden Flying Club offers a unique experience for pilots and aviation enthusiasts in Southern Ontario. We are not a flight school and do not offer commercial services or primary flight training. Our aircraft is privately registered by the club and its members. Club members are both pilots and non-flying social members who are enthusiastic about general aviation and enjoy sharing it with friends, family, and the community. Our flying members enjoy the benefits of a privately-owned aircraft, while sharing the operating costs and complexities of aircraft ownership with the other members.
Federally incorporated in 1958 as Centralia Flying Club, Borden Flying Club (BFC) changed its name after relocating to CFB Borden in 1967. In the fall of 2004, the club moved to Lake Simcoe Regional Airport (CYLS) following Base Borden’s decision to close the aerodrome. In March 2007, the club moved to its current home at Edenvale Aerodrome (CNV8).
We are a diverse group of pilots and aviation enthusiasts. At Borden Flying Club, everyone is welcome!
